RFLPS supports RFL in securing £10m for green energy initiatives

RFLPS has supported the RFL in securing nearly £10 million in external funding to accelerate its environmental transformation.

This includes:

  • £7.3 million from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (Phase 4) to reduce heat-related carbon emissions at the RFH
  • £2.5 million from NHS Renewable Energy Funding to install solar PV systems at both BH and CFH
  • These funds will directly support key infrastructure upgrades and renewable energy integration – critical components of the RFL’s path to a sustainable, low-carbon future. RFLPS continues to drive forward energy and estates strategy that supports both clinical care and climate resilience.
