About us

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL), our primary role is to support its four hospitals – Royal Free Hospital (RFH), Barnet Hospital (BH), Chase Farm Hospital (CFH), and North Middlesex University Hospital (North Mid), who joined in January 2025.

RFLPS maintains excellence in service delivery through a structured management framework.

Through structured Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs), we deliver essential services, ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities and enabling the best possible patient care. While RFLPS remains dedicated to supporting the RFL, we have expanded our expertise beyond these core services over the past five years.

Our growing consultancy division provides strategic support to a range of external customers and commissions, including many across the New Hospital Programme (NHP), North Central London (NCL), and the wider healthcare landscape. Our geographic reach spreads from London to the North and is testament to the growth of our professional services and talent within the business. Growing these services allows RFLPS to generate an annual surplus, which we reinvest in patient care at RFL as well as strengthening our business to safeguard its future in a challenging marketplace.
